I manage a busy site at the Pompey Centre in Portsmouth, close to Fratton Park, where the team of mechanics conducts servicing and repair of mechanical faults on vehicles, undertakes MoT inspections, tyre replacements and trackings. I manage the staff, schedule the workload, maintain quality control records, resolve customer complaints, handle the day to day financial management of the branch, and actively seek to attract and retain new and existing customers.When workload demands require it, I also take on tasks in the workshop, such as vehicle servicing, tyre replacement and tracking.

With my wife, I founded the Marple Cross Centre in Southsea; the Centre provides services and facilities to counsellors, psychotherapists, hypnotherapists and complementary practitioners where they can see their clients.I generate ideas for the business to grow and expand into new areas, oversee the financial aspects of the business, and assist in maintaining accurate records for use in accounting and business management.

I was responsible for planning the production schedule and budget for three informational DVD projects produced by the company in the area of disability. On location, I assisted in camera work, setting lights and microphones etc, and in completing production paperwork with interviewees.
