As Deputy Managing Director & Marketing Director at Sony Pictures I have led the marketing campaigns of some of the most successful cinema releases in recent years including all the Bond movies since Casino Royale of which Skyfall, became the first film at the UK box office to break through the £100m barrier. I lead a multi disciplined team and manage very large marketing budgets to develop & create integrated event level campaigns.I have worked on a huge range of releases from the event franchise blockbusters such as Bond and Spider-Man, Blade Runner 2049, and most recently Jumanji to a wide range of acclaimed and successful movies such as Baby Driver, Django Unchained, Captain Phillips, Superbad, Social Network and 21 Jump Street. I have extensive experience of successfully releasing a number of family movies for example the recent hugely successful adaptation of Peter Rabbit, Hotel Transylvania, Emoji, Smurfs, Arthur Christmas, The Pirates - An Adventure with Scientists. I have also led the campaign strategy for some hugely successful, award winning and critically acclaimed arthouse releases for example Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon and Capote and more recently Whiplash and Call Me By Your Name.I also have wide ranging experience with working directly with UK filmmakers to originate UK campaigns including recent releases: T2: Trainspotting, The Lady In the Van, Snatch, Layer Cake and The Damned United, plus films from Aardman Studios and the 007 film makers, EON Productions. Direct experience in all areas of film marketing covering: strategy, advertising and media, creative development in print and A/V, third party and media promotions, events, publicity, digital marketing, social media, and exhibitor marketing. This also includes leading the team to stage major film premiere's.Extensive experience of leading, managing and motivating a large multi disciplined team and working into a major studio in LA.
