Chartered Engineer with a first class honours degree in Electronic Engineering and specialist skillet in electronic communications and Intelligent Transport Systems. Extensive experience in the design and deployment of technology solutions to support specialist applications. Experienced business unit leader, project manager, project director and technical authority in relation to the design and delivery of complex technology solutions.Extensive experience in industry wide collaboration including key roles in subject matter expert groups, expert advisory groups and peer to peer networks to support sharing and best practice. Previous responsibilities included the development of industry wide standards, specifications and specialist design guidance to support industry wide initiatives.In addition to the above role I also have proven expertise in relation to business development activities and business growth. I was a key part of the team which opened the original Sweco office in Teesside in 2017 and was responsible for office management and direction over the last 7 years. This included growth, relocation and leading business development activities.
