CurrentStu has practised as a litigation lawyer since 2004 undertaking a wide variety of civil litigation and criminal defence work. Stuart has practiced as a litigation lawyer for over 15 years in Queensland. He is admitted as a barrister and solicitor in Tasmania and Western Australia and holds a solicitors practicing certificate in Queensland. He has appeared in Courts, Tribunals and Inquests in Tasmania, Western Australia, Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland. In the last 10 years, Stuart has represented many clients in significant cases including • the middle man in Australia’s largest GST fraud case;• instructing solicitor in a high profile aviation case involving ten Defendants including the Commonwealth Government which featured on the front page of the Australian newspaper and Australian Story;• instructing solicitor in a medical negligence case of national significance involving the practice of podiatric surgery in Australia;• recently, Stuart has acted for a Plaintiff involved in revenge internet pornography issuing equitable proceedings for breach of confidence.
