Machine & Welding is a full service fabrication shop. We currently work out of two locations with 13,000 square feet of floor space. Our Danbury location is basically our machine shop with the following capacity: multiple milling machines, CNC Mill, Lathes, Iron Worker, Press Break (175 ton), horizontal band saw, and cold saw. Our Walnut Cove location houses our newest addition - a Hypertherm HPR400XD HYPerformance Plasma cutting system. This system is capable of cutting dross free up to 1.5" carbon steel, pierce up to 2" carbon steel, and edge start carbon steel up to 3.2" thick. Our table is 100" wide by 360" (30') in length. Needless to say our 10 ton overhead crane has no problem in loading and unloading our table. The Walnut Cove location has 8000 square feet in floor space which allows us plenty of room for fabrication. Our business is built on customer service and take a lot of pride in the fact that we do not miss delivery dates. We can offer shop drawings in Auto-CAD or Solidworks, our welders are certified to AWS D.1, and we have a Certified Welding Inspector to inspect and document all stipulated or critical welds.
