PMP accredited with BEng in Civil Engineering and a business related MSc currently working in the civil service.Previously i worked as an engineering consultant assisting the best pharmaceutical and fertiliser distribution company in Sri Lanka to implement preventative maintenance procedures, set up a new property management team, as well as managing some very impressive capital works they have planned.Before that I worked as Project Manager on a mixed use luxury development in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The project comprises a 5* hotel, retail mall, luxury residential and office towers. Prior to this I worked as Senior Project Engineer on the fit out of the future Qatar Petroleum headquarters - a 9 office tower and hotel development in Doha, Qatar. My responsibilities have included managing projects from cradle to marriage (handing over my child to their spouse, the operations team), coordination of design between internal and external delivery teams, advising the client on contractual issues, overseeing the approval processes and delivering results within demanding time-frames and budgets, managing the construction, testing and commissioning and handover activities.Specialities: Project and Design Management; Client and Contractor liaison; Statutory Authority liaison; Compliance to internal and external standards and regulations.
