I am the founder and Director of Legal Recruitment (Australia) at Ablethorpe Recruitment. www.ablethorpe.comI graduated with a Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of Commerce from Monash University and worked first as a solicitor, gaining wide exposure to the law as a Commercial Litigator with a specialty in Trade Practices and Intellectual Property disputes. I commenced my career in legal services, consultancy and recruitment in 2002, joining Morgan &Banks/TMP Worldwide, which later morphed into Hudson Global Resources. I have specialised in legal services, consultancy and recruitment for the last decade completing assignments within Australia and internationally and have held the positions of Principal Consultant Legal and Manager, Legal. On a functional level at Ablethorpe Recruitment, I look after roles at the Partnership and General Counsel level down to junior lawyers across private law firms, corporations and government departments within Australia. I also assist lawyers to obtain roles internationally through affiliates and local internationals. My clients have included some of Australia’s largest law firms, major international blue chip corporates and also local privately owned corporations as well as public sector bodies and departments.I remain a member of the Law Institute of Victoria, the Australian Corporate Lawyers Association and also retain my Victorian legal practising certificate.
