Providing a key support role across several sections of the business, this role comprised:* Assisting clients with sustainability reporting, carbon disclosure, carbon footprinting and claiming of NGACs and ESCs for energy efficiency projects; * Analysing and internally communicating developments in sustainability, including policy and legislation (such as NGER and EEO), products and technology, carbon trading and competitors;* Developing EP&T’s internal environment management system aligned with ISO 14001;* Analysing and presenting research outcomes for the CEO and business development team;* Working with the sales team, clients and government to expand EP&T’s share of funding grants such as the Green Building Fund;* Developing processes to streamline the tasks of the technical services team;* Providing the business development team with strategy and sales analysis.Key achievements in this role:* Successfully tendering for a $1.4m Asset Efficiency Program;* Obtaining over $1m in project funding from the Green Building Fund;* Delivering training modules for the sales and technical services teams and key clients;* Streamlining the technical services workload to help achieve annual savings of $14m for clients (up 15% from 2008);* Identifying and introducing energy efficiency opportunities within EP&T’s workplace, including joining the CitySwitch initiative.* Carrying out site audits and desktop studies, including water saving action plans, energy saving action plans, EEO audits, water harvesting studies, monthly energy management reports, building/plant improvement roadmaps and NABERS ratings. * Developing templates and processes for carrying out the above works, and up-skilling the technical services team.* Project managing the implementation of a $1.9m water saving project across 21 commercial buildings in Sydney.
