I'm an experienced International media and entertainment executive who enjoys building business's and driving change. As the TV industry has evolved rapidly over the last 30 years, I’ve been lucky to work at some great places including Warner Bros, Sony Pictures and eOne during its growth days. I grew with these companies and had varied roles in Content Distribution, new and digital media initiatives, corporate development and M&A. Latterly much of the time has been spent working with wonderful creative Exec’s trying to help them find a way to finance and distribute their projects.The studio’s taught me a lot about rigour and analysis, the Producers that it’s not just about the money, and our Teams about when working together almost anything is possible. That’s the bit I enjoy - making good things happen, not just for the business but for the culture and career development everyone gets. So in this next plural phase of my career I’m looking to balance work challenges and the stimulation and satisfaction that comes with them, with more quality time with family and friends - fishing, golf, Padel tennis etc.I’m hitting the ground running this Jan and helping Papercup - a generative AI dubbing business thats off to a flying start being blacked by Sky, BMG and GMG. I’m expanding my NED role at Sunrise Media and getting more actively involved, DMD (Founder/Angel investor) will also probably take up more time and I’m also helping another Content business review its Distribution strategy and options.
