I am responsible for leading the sales engineering team at Sophos across EMEA. My role is to ensure Sophos have an industry leading sales engineering team to engage technically with our customers and partners across the region. I bring over 30 years’ experience leading international engineering teams across Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, Juniper and MLL Telecom. Whilst I have a deep networking background, I believe successful engineers have the ability to take complex technologies and articulate them simply, focusing on meaningful business outcomes.I really love new technology. My passion is the cloud and how we make it easier and more viable for customers to navigate it. Likewise, how cyber security can scale to protect small and medium businesses. I want to be part of this journey. My job has allowed me to travel internationally and I have met many people from different cultures. This has been a privilege and has also helped to shape my working relationships. I’d like to travel more in the future – a South America visit is on my list. I’m also a keen sports enthusiast – golf, cycling, cricket and running are passions, as well as being a season ticket holder at West Ham United. I believe it’s so important to take care of yourself and have time out in our fast paced industry, and I encourage my teams to do the same.
