Being a member of both the Consumer & Industrial Market financial audit team and the Information Risk Management team, I spend my time performing financial statement audits and IT control reviews for public and private, national and multinational firms.Financial Audit:As a senior, my job is to plan, coordinate, perform and manage the audit fieldwork. It also requires communicating with the engagement manager / partner and updating them on the progress and results of the audit testing.Information Risk Management:This involves planning the audit and coordinating staff to perform the required work, reviewing the work of more junior members of the team and providing feedback on their performance.I perform reviews of the change management process and system development life-cycle and provide performance improvement recommendations.I also audit controls to regulate access to programs and data.Also, as part of my work in IRM, I research and develop new CAATs procedures in order to make the audit process more efficient.
