With a deep-rooted interest in the influence of visual media and the practical application of innovative technology, I’m a passionate believer in the power of digital tools and multi-platform experiences to educate and enrich our daily lives. I’m collaborative and a people person. I like to understand why things are done a certain way, and to help companies and staff think objectively in order to find better ways to do them. I have raised over £1.5 million from domestic and European funds for research and development projects. I have also raised funds for private project commissions to support business development goals. I’m an effective communicator, able to simplify complex ideas for a broad audience and have experience of leading award-winning digital video and interactive projects including TrueTube.co.uk – an educational video platform which in 2016 became the first online-only channel to win a Children’s BAFTA. In 2017 TrueTube won a further 4 Children’s BAFTAs including Channel of the Year.
