About Stuart Ward

Experienced Product Manager and People Leader with a demonstrated history of working and providing product and engineering leadership, business development and innovation in the software industry. This has included innovating and developing enterprise software, both on-premise and software as a service (SaaS), for use in research and development (R&D), regulatory (21 CFR Part 11 and GxP), bioinformatics and life sciences – especially in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.I have been directly involved from a product and software engineering standpoint in moving on-premise products to the cloud (AWS) and led the development and launch of The E-WorkBook GxP Cloud - IDBS’ market leading complete end-to-end, cloud-based, research and development platform for regulated use. I am interested in how the cloud and the modern technologies it enables, such as AI/ML, can provide significant value to businesses compared to more traditional development approaches. In addition, I have used my continuous improvement mindset which has involved the introduction of agile practices across product and engineering, use of the Danaher Business System (DBS) and subsequent development of the practices to increase efficiencies to get outcomes delivered to customers faster. My success is down to my ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the business, including executive level relationships, through my reputation for high quality work and good communication. I have used my life science industry background to ensure that the products and services, which I have worked with, exceed the needs of the users and businesses by providing customers efficiency gains and the ability to facilitate innovation through the use of technology.
