Over the past 3 years Stuart has transformed the performance of the group, moving them from -5% margin to +25% margin.

CGI acquired Logica in October 2012Whilst leader of the Shell account, revenues grew from $40m in 2008 to $300m in 2012. This was achieved by creating an enthused, entrepreneurial team following a simple, global strategy and by forming key partnerships with other organisations. This has allowed CGI/Logica to solve critical business problems for clients through excellent delivery capability and innovation. The nature of engagements has changed from technical consultancy to broader outcome based long term contracts, along with an improved reputation and relationships at the most senior level.Stuart sat on the CGI Oil & Gas board, and specialises in Business Development, Transformational Change (both internally and with clients), Portfolio Performance Improvement/Business Improvement, and Programme & Portfolio Management. Responsible for leading the Shell Downstream, Functions and Trading Account for Logica. This was Logica's largest client and highest profile. Stuart was responsible for all sales, delivery and project execution for Shell globally. In addition, Stuart was responsible for the P&L and client satisfaction.

Stuart joined PA Consulting as a graduate and very rapidly progressed and became leader within the Global Energy Practice (Managing Consultant) and was invited to stand for Partner election. Stuart was also acknowledged as one of PA Consulting’s Key Account Leaders, and grew significant business in BP.While at PA he consulted with a broad range of clients on both strategy work and complex programme delivery leading many significant assignments, including:• Portfolio Management and Project Engagement Process to successfully enable the delivery of a $1bn global IT project portfolio in a Global Oil & Gas company.• A $400m IT transformation programme including High Availability Networks, Data Centre Consolidation, Disaster Recover & Business Continuity, ITIL Processes and Global Network Monitoring for a Trading Organisation.• Strategy to deliver faster and more effective training for a highly distributed workforce dealing with complex situations, Foreign & Commonwealth Office.
