I am an experienced Master Mariner (Captain) and Marine Assurance Professional, with extensive command experience and an in-depth knowledge of marine operations including SMS and PMS, compliance, BRM and DP operations, which I use to provide superior marine assurance services including inspections, surveys and audits of marine assets, accident / incident investigations and legal services. I have provided consultancy services for numerous marine clients including Oil Majors such as Shell, Chevron and BP. I was recently engaged to lead investigations into a major and costly LTI in which a suspended load lowered into the sea during equipment testing. I oversaw a robust investigation and established the cascade failure that caused the incident, then embedded preventative procedures to eradicate future risk of failure.
