• After achieving a successful record of results as a Senior Sales Executive from 2005 through 2008, I was retained by Humana following their acquisition of Cariten. I am the only Sales Executive with Humana that was.
• Started with no existing business and secured new accounts in 5 years with total membership of 15,000 to 20,000.
• Consistently rank as a top Sales Executive in Tennessee for both medical and ancillary products in the 100 to 999 employee segment.
• Generated strong results in 2013 by adding 1,827 new members to the medical plan.
• Achieved 259% of 2012 medical goal by adding 2,345 members with goal of 905.
• Produced 100% of the 2011 Worksite Voluntary Benefits (WVB) goal.

• I established a strong record of performance during this time with Cariten in a large eight county region by implementing an aggressive territory growth strategy that involved developing new accounts, managing existing.
• Ranked #1 in sales and account retention almost every year from 2005 through 2008.
• Achieved 98% account retention rate from 2005 through 2008 while managing 60-80 accounts with a total of 24,000 members; results were obtained through strong relationship building and intensive account service/support.

• I was recruited into this role, based on my strong industry sales performance and reputation, to start the new Life and Health Division for this company that had focused strictly on Property and Casualty insurance.
• Implemented a comprehensive sales campaign that introduced the Life and Health Division to local businesses, established name recognition, and generated $250,000 in annual commissions.
• Increased sales of group health insurance and other employee benefit products to existing customers and new prospects; serviced clients to ensure customer retention and contract renewal.

This was a great opportunity for me to gain some of my initial experience in the health benefits sales industry by working for one of the oldest and largest insurance companies in Tennessee. I generated sales, retained business and renewed policies while cross selling lines of coverage (group health, life, disability, dental, and long-term care benefits).
