Business Strategy, Business development, management consultancy, venture capital projects, marketing consultancy.Key project was the setting up and roll out of the Ezytrack GPS Tracking business, bringing together suitable stakeholders, and developing and implementing a marketing plan.I assisted a number of companies in re-inventing their sales and marketing activities in an economy that was shrinking due to political and economic instability and 10+ years of recession. With the demise of the Zimbabwean dollar, the economy "dollarised" which increased running costs 4-fold overnight. These and other factors caused the economy to stall further with many companies folding under the pressure.I covered industries such as printing, manufacturing, hospitality, food distribution, gift-ware, water distribution, natural health products, service industry, cleaning product distribution, on-line business directories and more.I also assisted some Zimbabwean companies in looking for and identifying South African M&A partners.Key client requirements were re-educating and motivating their fatigued staff into bringing back success to the business. There was sales and customer care training, devising marketing plans to release the owners / directors from micro-management and empowering staff to do their jobs with a set structure and accountability process.

This achievement was emphasised by the political and economic problems in Zimbabwe, in a time where operational challenges with the basics like power, cash shortages and water cuts being a daily experience. Some of our activities included sourcing hardware, visiting suppliers, negotiating Telco contracts, designing and contracting our own platform, developing sales, recruiting staff, setting up and running our own secure 24 hour control room, introducing a marketing program, running day to day operations.
