P&L owner of Accenture’s Media & Entertainment portfolio in UK & Ireland, providing a range of strategy, consulting, technology and operations services to leading broadcasters, pay TV companies, publishers, music businesses and gaming companies.

Responsible for originating, shaping and selling a range of work from consulting projects to large-scale technology transformation programmes to clients in the UK media industries. Also, the client account lead for a number of media and entertainment companies.

Sold and delivered management & technology consulting work for one of the world’s largest broadcasters; Accenture’s lead for digital archiving solutions.

Integral role extending Digiplug’s relationship with Universal Music, including the introduction of a new direct-to-consumer (D2C) digital fulfilment service. Also developed and sold a new digital supply chain offering for the book publishing industry, working with product design and delivery teams to adapt a music platform.

Re-joined Accenture to work for one of its digital media subsidiaries, forming a critical link between Accenture and Digiplug teams. Managed the company’s relationships with Sony Music and Warner Music, where Digiplug provided mobile music digital supply chain services.

Owned the company’s sales strategy, all financial modelling, the annual business plan, investor and board relations, and helped the company secure $10 million in funding. Also established a support infrastructure that was acceptable to large multinational retailers.

Helped the company broker content deals with leading music and video rights holders, including the music majors and Hollywood studios. Integral role in the development of Robbie Williams’ online presence and the successful launch of an unsigned artist competition run by MSN. Instrumental in forging a global partnership with BT.

Initially joined the company to support its transformation from a software development business into a digital content services company. On the back of this strategy, the company later delivered online music and video services for North America’s leading retailers, including Best Buy and Circuit City, and developed a digital entertainment strategy for Tesco.

Focused on the emerging digital content sector within the music industry, helped develop a ‘digital entertainment ecosystem’ in association with key Accenture clients. Developed part of the restructuring and strategic review to drive significant annualised savings on behalf of a music major following its change of ownership. Outside of the music majors.

Joined the graduate scheme of Andersen Consulting (rebranded as Accenture in 2001) and experienced working in a variety of consulting roles across different industries. Spent time in 2002 working for a recorded music major, initially helping to develop an IT strategy – remained working for media and entertainment clients ever since.
