I’ve been developing games professionally since 2000. During that time I’ve shipped more than a dozen titles on half a dozen platforms. I’m contracting and consulting to support my new video game studio Wood Fired Games. I offer game evaluation, rapid prototyping, systems design, Unity development, and full project development.     I was brought on as the "RTS Expert" to help FarBridge develop Homeworld: Vast Reaches for VR! I assisted them as they built out their engine architecture, multiplayer, gameplay systems, and content pipeline. I've also pitched in as a programmer and offered advice on maximizing the performance of C# and Unity. They are a wonderful team full of passionate people who are building something truly special. I cannot wait to get this game into the hands of players.

    I was contracted to build three educational mini-games for use with Legends of Learning's 2022 math fluency product Math Basecamp. Legends of Learning supplied the game design overview, existing art assets, and educational pedagogy for each game. I handled the visuals, audio, and code largely as a solo developer using Unity targeting WebGL running on Chromebooks. Math Basecamp is a finalist for the 2023 CODiE Award for Best Educational Game.
