I was a leader in the Australian cybersecurity practice, responsible for revenue and consulting services delivery as well as general day to day management of the cybersecurity team of consultants. I personally delivered programs of work for cyber transformation in major clients such as Qantas Airlines as well as helping architect a brand new digital bank hosted completely in the AWS cloud.

Leading the Banks security team through a significant period of transformation uplifting almost all aspects of Security and establishing a 'fit for purpose' security operating model and team structure to deliver effective services to the rest of the bank. Some major streams of the transformation included a full refresh of boundary protection infrastructure, Proxies / Firewalls etc. Implementing 'Sailpoint' Identity and Access Management deployment and establishing an Enterprise Security Architecture and Architecture team to support DevOps and Agile. Strategic Initiatives: Establishing and promoting a risk based approach to Cyber Security across the Banks Leadership team. Rebuilding the whole team starting from the banks strategic vision resulting in new functions and key administrative controls such as: Establishing a Security Advisory Team with a key focus on driving innovation. Establishing a Security Design Authority Team, Establishing a Security Governance and Assurance Team More technical initiatives to improve the security posture included: A total refresh of the Banks firewall infrastructure including WAFs to enable future boarder-less strategies.Establishing a new Identity and Access Management Platform (an Industry leading vendor solution) Implementing and operationalising DDOS protection (volumetric and application) Rebuilding and operationalising a new Intrusion Detection System Implementing and operationalising an Advanced Threat Emulation Platform. Embedding secure code testing tools into the Software Development Lifecycle. Operationalising Data Loss Prevention and driving a Bank wide SteerCo on Data Protection.

Delivering and leading information security control implementation for key clients in Government and Oil & Gas. I developed a 'Whole of Government Security Procurement Strategy', I developed the 'IdAM' Strategy for a Major Government Department, and I led the implementation of a multi-year IAM Program in an large OGAS company. I also took a leadership role for the broader team of consultants and developed key accounts for IT Advisory services.
