I specialise in obtaining patents for electromechanical inventions, with an emphasis on robotics, oil & gas, telecoms and aerospace technologies. I head up the Robotics & Autonomous Systems group at Withers & Rogers.In addition to drafting and prosecuting European and UK patent applications, I also manage the prosecution of overseas applications in territories such as Canada, China, India, Japan and the US. I handle oppositions and appeals before the EPO and my ability to think on my feet and clearly articulate complex arguments serves me well in oral hearings. My clients range from private individuals and start-ups to large overseas and multinational companies, including a number of major UK universities.Specialties: Drafting and prosecuting patent applications.
