About Stuart A. Law, Jr.

Drawing on decades of experience, I help companies and developers build visionary commercial and industrial projects and seek restitution when construction projects go awry. I represent clients — which include some of the world's largest developers and real estate investors, as well as contractors, engineers and architects — throughout the construction process and in construction litigation and environmental remediation of building sites. From expediting e-commerce distribution center construction to navigating tax-reduced opportunity zones, my focus is aligning transactions seamlessly with clients' strategic objectives. I am both a transactional lawyer and a litigator.I have extensive experience in Alternative Dispute Resolution and helping parties resolve construction and engineering-related conflicts outside the courtroom. I have arbitrated and mediated scores of cases, both as an advocate for parties and as a neutral third party serving as arbitrator or mediator.Outside of my practice, my adventurous pursuits have included skydiving, scuba diving and racecar driving. One of my favorite moments? A lifelong IndyCar fan, I had the opportunity to immerse myself with a prominent IndyCar team. I successfully navigated and won an appeal/mini-trial in Detroit for an IndyCar race winner's post-race disqualification centered on the intricacies of the aerodynamics, technical design, and construction of IndyCar cars. We got the win back.
