Independent contractor hired to manage testing for a set of major digital retail sites for an established bricks-and-mortar luxury retailer. Shoppers could develop customized 3D views of expensive jewelry, playing with the variables like cut, clarity, and mounting to find the best deal for their budget, as well as examining a catalog of thousands of items. One of the trickier sets of client/consultant issues I've ever navigated, but the sites are still up and functional years later largely unchanged.

The plan was develop a women's website that would avoid the pitfalls of spam and death-by-banner ads through developing a proprietary email system for delivering opt-in targeted ads and surveys based on the user's browing history. And the kicker was, that users would earn points redeemable for merchandise by viewing ads and taking surveys. It might have worked if we launched a year or two earlier...

Hired, trained and supervised the student employee staff.

Developed and implemented public and industry relations strategies for the launch of a revolutionary market-based approach to reducing air pollution through the banking and trading of emission reduction credits. Planned and executed first industry-wide conference to publicly roll-out new program and enroll early program participants.
