With over 20 years’ experience at Director level within project and management consulting, I now lead the operational development of Corre Energy, developing long duration grid scale renewable energy storage solutions complemented by the production and sale of green hydrogen, which play a key role in the decarbonisation and deployment of renewable energy sources. I provide leadership, guidance and deliver operational capability to enable Corre Energy to build out its pipeline of projects which are identified as a key priority for future interconnection of EU energy system infrastructure.Whilst the responsibilities are substantial, the rewards of my job are equally satisfying, as every day I get to work with some of the most highly regarded specialists in the world, solving the most pressing challenge of our day, the transition to a sustainable energy future as part of the global goal of reducing GHG emissions, tackling at scale the climate crisis and enabling a circular economic future.I believe that despite the challenges currently facing humanity, we are capable of changing our world significantly for the better and I am excited to be in a business that is helping deliver some of these changes and driving towards a better future for us all.
