Leadership in Functional Safety and Systems Engineering targeted to autonomous / self driving vehicles.Use of ISO26262 and SOTIF to bring safety engineering disciplines cross-functionally into org wide engineering.Use of Systems Engineering principles to document, analyze and improve system architecture.

• Subject matter expert on AV and EV engineering and technology such as AI, Mapping, Battery technology, vehicle architecture, charging, energy grid impacts, machine vision, sensors and connectivity.• Project Management and Engineering associated with autonomous, highly automated vehicles (AV, EV, ZEV, ADAS, etc.) including infrastructure impacts, planning and design issues, network impact and opportunities, market models, industry impacts, business cases, etc.• Engineering studies on mobility, technical, planning, social, commercial, economic and environmental issues related to automated and zero emission vehicles; including assessing the impact on alternative scenarios and sensitivity testing.• In depth study of key technical, planning, commercial, economic, social and environmental issues which need to be resolved to inform the identification of infrastructure requirements to enable the implementation of automated and zero emission vehicles.• Stakeholder management - including with government, industry and communitystakeholders on technical, planning, commercial, economic, social and environmentalissues.• Contract management - including consultancies, technical/engineering providers and business to business.

• Responsible for management of ARRB Systems R&D, engineering, production and testing divisions • Responsible for portfolio management and future planning/direction. Responsible for delivering good commercial outcomes from ongoing portfolio.• Responsible for commercial performance of divisions• Responsible for plan to ensure 5+ year commercially sound portfolio of forward work• Responsible for Innovation management, ideation to market (NPI).• Responsible for cross functional engineering team leadership (mechanical, software, firmware, electrical).• Driving the systematic analysis and resolution of product portfolio management , business case assessment, project priority, planning and delivery.
