I am a partner specialising in construction at Macfarlane Law. Prior to setting up my own practice, I was the founding partner of Weightmans (Scotland) LLP. Previously a partner - and founder head of the Construction Group - at Semple Fraser, having joined the firm in 1992.I have extensive experience in both contentious and non-contentious work and have notable successes in conducting arbitrations against Senior Counsel. I have a particular interest in building contract arbitrations and adjudications, with an eye to resolve disputes in a commercially sensible way.
