Work in the Sound Department of RTÉ studios. Main duties include but are not limited to; preparing the studio floor for the required sound elements of the production that is taking place. Working within a team to produce live television or a recording for later transmission. Coordinating and managing all sound facilities on the studio floor. Have also worked in radio broadcasting for a period.Have previously worked at the Festival of World Cultures, on tour with the Dubliners, and Audio International in the Gaiety Theatre.I also believe a lot in continuos development of ones self. Among other courses I have in recent years completed a Diploma in Business Studies from UCD and a distinction from Hi-Tech Training in Digital Electronics level 2. These were done while still working full time and on top of a diploma in Sound Recording and Music Technology from the Bray Institute of Further Education.
