As a USGA certified Rules expert, I work as a Tour Referee (Rules) on the Challenger PGA Tour of Australasia, and I co-host the world's leading podcast dedicated solely to the Rules of Golf, listened to by Referees and rules enthusiasts all around the world.I support Australia's #1 Golf podcast, Talk Birdie to Me, as their 'Rules Guy' regularly assisting them with Rules issues and questions and I regularly write for the Australian Golf Digest. I have refereed at National and State Championships in Australia, including the Australian Open and Victorian Open. At tournaments, I prioritise open communication to maintain excellent rapport with players and caddies. Collaboration and communication are key components of my approach to tournament management. I am adept at consulting with other tournament officials, and my experience extends to coordinating volunteers and personnel, ensuring everyone functions seamlessly throughout the event.I write the popular weekly DropZone newsletter sent to golf clubs, club professionals, tour referees and golfers all around the world, containing rules questions and tips.I present on-course practical rules clinics for Club Professionals, Committees and club golfers, from introductory sessions to expert level rules clinics. Prior to my interest in golf, I travelled the world for 20+ years speaking to people about trading currencies and stocks. I spoke live in front of tens of thousands of fellow traders from Mumbai to New York, Melbourne to Beijing, Tokyo to London, and many places in between. My best selling trading book, 'Trading in a Nutshell, 4th Edition' (John Wiley) is not about vague concepts that don't work in the real world. They are about incredibly practical, timesaving strategies that you need to implement in order to become an extremely successful trader.
