Vp Purchasing & OperationsMillennium Memory Jan 1994 - Apr 1999I started Millennium Memory, a 3rd party computer memory manufacturer, in 1994. Our low inventory positions and a precipitous fall in memory pricing enabled us to avoid the huge inventory write downs which plagued our competitors –that, coupled with a surge in memory demand created by Windows95, help us to achieve profits unprecedented in the industry. This profitability gave us the flexibility to provide superior customer support to our VARs. We leveraged these strengthened VAR relationships with liquidity from our IPO as Millennium Electronics (NASDAQ: MILM) to purchase white box computer manufacturer, NetRam Computers. We sold high-end computers to our VAR's corporate customers and competed with eMachines' sub $599 system in the largest retail accounts of the USA. The lessons I took from that experience are priceless. I have successfully integrated those lessons with relationships old and new to create much success for my personal and professional life and the lives of those with whom I interact.
