• Prepare sales quotations and equipment proposals including price, delivery and relevant specifications per process application• Review technical bid packages from end users, distributors and subcontractors to design equipment that meets client and bid requirements• Design, bid and build heat exchangers to meet applicable equipment standards such as ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, ASME Bioprocessing (BPE), Pharmaceutical, Dairy, 3-A Sanitary Standards and FDA Food/Beverage• Meet with clients, contractors and distributors to ensure accuracy of project timeline, deliverables, equipment hand off and equipment commissioning• Provide technical service and support to customers via email, phone or in person at customer plant• Manage equipment design and production to meet client project deadlines• Create basic steam and water process systems including heat exchanger, valves, pumps, control panel and other instrumentation• Apply heat transfer and thermodynamic principles to develop numerical tools and software that assist and automate the sizing of gasketed plate heat exchangers as well as TEMA shell and tube heat exchangers• Test client products to determine physical, rheological and heat transfer properties• Produce detailed manufacturing drawings, bill of materials, and customer drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD• Prepare ASME construction drawings, weld drawings, and material documentation for code stamped heat exchangers• Create P&ID drawings for sanitary food/beverage processes, water and steam systems• Utilize Lean manufacturing principles to improve manufacturing processes and increase production capacity• Develop numerical methods and solutions to automate the optimization of Thermaline plate heat exchanger designs• Research and develop new corrugated heat transfer plate model for use in the sanitary food and bioprocessing markets• Configured and designed shell and tube heat exchangers to meet 3-A sanitary and ASME BPE standards
