ECF2 won the Insurance Day London Market Awards Technological Initiative of the Year. The award acknowledges initiatives that ‘redefine the industry's competitive landscape and raises the bar for customers' or partners' expectations. ECF2 is a package of claims process and system improvements that is reduced the time taken by the London Insurance Market to settle claims. The project included an innovative way to work with documents stored in the Market’s repository as well as an improved and configurable approach to workflow management. Led a team of over 120 Market and Xchanging professionals and more than 1,200 market practitioners.

Shaped and developed an internal Investment Proposal for Faraday, a London Market Insurer, which led to the replacement and rationalisation of Faraday’s core business systems with Sequel’s Eclipse Underwriting System. Project managed five suppliers and a team of 50 to deliver a complex IT programme that retired 10 existing applications and many tactical databases.

Conceived, set up and led the award-winning Learning for All division for Futuremedia, generating over £25m of revenue and £4m in operating profit in its first year previously having co-founded and launched both Qick and Computers for Staff plcs, employee benefits companies specialising in what became the Home Computing Initiative.
