Have previously run a small business that focused on sales and implementation of Great Plains Dynamics ERP system for small to mid sized business. In this role I was primarily involved with assisting customers in meeting their specific financial reporting needs and working closely with the IT personnel to ensure a smooth transition from legacy systems. Have also worked as an assistant to the CFO for a large manufacturing firm and in this role was responsible for corporate accounting and reporting as well as performance analysis.Have taught financial accounting, managerial accounting and advanced accounting topics for 10+ years. My research is in the area of capital markets, Sarbanes Oxley 404 impact and board structure. I hold a Bachelors in Accounting from Florida International University and a Masters in Professional Accounting from the University of Texas.
