You might say I'm somewhat unique in that I'm a “people-person” with an engineering background. I’ve always been an inquisitive sole, this curiosity of “how things work”, and “how they can work better”, led me into engineering and ultimately into building service businesses. Over the years I've worn many hats, working predominantly in the Semiconductor Manufacturing Industry. I have broad ranging engineering and operational experience in the Semiconductor industry. I tend to see the opportunity in most situations, even problematic situations. I can calmly and methodically work through most scenarios. Asking “why” is a powerful tool. A few accomplishments I'm proud of include:► Led Retronix Semiconductor from start-up to become the largest third-party engineering services provider to the Semiconductor manufacturing industry globally by mid-2012.► Transformed Retronix International from a loss-making business into profitability in six months, doubling revenue year-on-year from 2008 to 2011 and improving EBITDA year-on-year by developing a complimentary suite of value-added services.► Capitalized on industry opportunities presented by the 2008 economic depression. Built a strong engineering and operations team to seize on the new opportunities of a rapidly changing marketplace. ► Built a highly competitive multifaceted engineering services brand by merging and sharing the operational and administration resources, each feeding off slashed operations costs and leveraging the combined improved positioning/agility, and competitive advantage. ► Surpassed competitors in the US, Europe, and Asian markets to position Retronix Semiconductor as the industry leader.
