Delivered Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Server 2000, 2003 and 2012), Microsoft Certified IT Professional (Server 2008 and SQL Server 2008) and Database Administrator SQL Server 2012 training to 400 Rackspace employees, carried out study sessions which included Virtual Machine self-paced labs and Q and A sessions, most of who went on to certify. Created, designed and delivered IIS8.5 training to 100 Rackspace employees. Created, designed and delivered Protocol classes (HTTP, SMTP, IP FTP and others) and delivered to 200 Rackers. Created, designed and piloted Hyper-V training, pilot class of 12 Rackers. To create custom classes I would sit with the team that owned the technology and help with their tickets to understand where the pain points were so we could incorporate this information into the training.Updated and delivered Cloud Basics training to 100 students at Open Cloud Academy (OCA is a learning institution that Rackspace founded to prepare interested students and career changers for employment in technology/hosting organizations). Cloud Basics prepares students to use different cloud technologies. Delivered Sys Admin to 30 students. Sys Admin is designed to prepare students to communicate effectively with customers both on the telephone and through the ticketing system.Maintained the Rackspace University ticket queue, promptly answering and updating our customers as needed.

Started of delivering CompTIA classes (A+, N+ and Security+) and the Defense Messaging System classes. Gained Microsoft Certified Trainer cert and added the Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator and Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator classes to my roster.

Joined up as a Junior Recruit and progressed through the ranks as Underwater Control (sonar) then we were changed to Combat Systems Operators. Finished of my career as Warrant Office Combat Systems Manager. 27 absolutely wonderful years.
