Dr Stuart Jackson is a SET Urology trainee currently undertaking his PhD through the University of Sydney. This work is focussed on eHealth technology and information use, and the eHealth literacy of prostate cancer patients (https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Stuart-Jackson-2).He graduated in 2017 from the University of Sydney, having been awarded the Joint Semmelweis and Harold Alfred Waldron Memorial Prize for his Doctor of Medicine (MD) research. After graduating he completed his internship and residency at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (Sydney), with training as a urology registrar (unaccredited) undertaken at Dubbo Base (regional NSW) and Nepean Hospitals (Sydney). He is a recipient of a 2023 Frank Gardiner Award for highest mark in the Surgical Science Examination (Urology), and has previously been awarded a Vice-Chancellor Commendation for Academic Excellence. Stuart is an early career clinical researcher with interests in uro-oncology, eHealth, psycho-oncology, and education/mentorship. He has multiple peer-review publications and has presented his urological research internationally. With formal qualifications in education, Stuart has taught regularly for the University of Sydney Department of Surgery, and has helped lead development of mentorship programs at the University of Sydney Medical School and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
