• Optimal Trust (OT) is a pragmatic model and technology that reflects how trust operates throughout an organization - a mechanism that measures and manages trust to create better, quality relationships. • Qualitative, subjective observations become measurable, quantifiable data. • OT addresses the “unspoken” issues that undercut relationships within organizations.• With OT’s trust profiles, targeted strategies are imprlenetd to improve levels of trust between parties. When tied to other success metrics, OT offers a roadmap for the Optimization of Trust amongst multiple stakeholders.

My career covers a wide range of activities — entrepreneur, writer/journalist, producer/videoartist, and composer/musician. As co-founder of Empowered Media, we were at the forefront of the digital media and online marketing revolution.-----While serving Empowered Media, we worked with major defense contractors, international human rights organizations, the United Nations, and top Fortune 500 companies. Our work included consulting with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security on counter-terrorism initiatives. As editor-in-chief of Empowered Doctor, I oversaw the production of thousands of health-related news stories, including the media for The National Physician of the Year Awards. I also developed educational programs for Wall Street on the nature of trust and the financial system, which became the program Ethical Trust. I am also also a multimedia artist, creating music, videos librettos, video, and music for the concert hall, film, dance, and theater. My ensemble, Electric Diamond, is one of the pioneering groups of live, electronic music performance. I was also a recipient of the Criterion Foundation Award that supported him for more than 5 years for the sole purpose of composing contemporary music. As a Woodrow Wilson Visiting Fellow, I visit colleges throughout the United States in support of the value of the liberal arts. For 9 years, I was a Trustee for The California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco.

From 2006 to 2017, I was the Co-Founder of Empowered Medical Media (aka Empowered Doctor). At the time, we were one of the first online, medical healthcare marketing companies that revolutionized how we connect with healthcare practioners and organizations… and most importantly, how we search for medical information. We produced more than 2500 healthcare-related stories - most with video. Beginning in 2008 I was the executive media producer of The National Physician of the Year Awards - presented by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd. I told the stories of the people whose creativity, insight, and integrity have revolutionized modern medicine and affected the lives of millions of people throughout the world. I had the privilege of conducting in-depth interviews with these extraordinary men and women exploring some of the most profound questions about life, death, and what it means to heal.

Empowered was at the forefront of the digital media and online marketing revolution - part of the early tech pioneers who helped create what the Internet is today. We developed and launched some of the first online Enterprise, CMS, Sales Platforms, and Messaging Systems. Began by producing educational videos and animation. We produced nationally syndicated programming, such as "Flight to Mars", a documentary about the first time Earthlings sent a robot to the Red Planet - The Pathfinder Mission in 1998.In the following years became recognized as a leader in producing high-end, online marketing, communications, and software programming for top-flight corporations. In 2006, we founded Empowered Medical Media (aka Empowered Doctor) in which we focused on healthcare issues. The news feed, Empowered Health News, became the first and only outside newsfeed on the CBS network affiliated websites. Clients included many nationally recognized names in healthcare, including Cancer Treatment Centers of America, New York Presbyterian Hospital, Castle Connolly, and many more.Worked with US Customs, dealing with the controversial issues swirling around Homeland Security. Traveled to Paris to collaborate with scientists involved in the potential dangers of electro-magnetic radiation from cell-phones and new technologies. Produced Latin American music specials. (Even briefly owned a Latin music night club). In Antwerp, Belgium, created innovative marketing for the diamond industry. We promoted important social issues, such as the plight of Albanians in Kosovo, and the lack of financial responsibility and credibility in the budgetary affairs of the US government. It has been a privilege to work with a multicultural group of brilliant and talented programmers, videographers, animators, web designers, graphic artists, and producers.
