I have spent over 20 years performing financial and operational analysis for clients in both business and government settings. I lead data collection and analysis projects that are focussed on bringing new understanding to complex problems.My role is to bring Data Analytics into the way we perform our services in Assurance at PwC - this includes the enhanced use of analytics in delivering our External Audits (Financial Assurance), as well as our Internal Audit work and our other Assurance services. By working shoulder-to-shoulder with delivery teams, and providing tools to support new ways of working, we will transform the way we deliver these services. I have worked on major reforms in government and education where I have led projects that compile and analyse data to derive a unique rich evidence base for change. Success in these projects has come down to robust analysis, paired with effective communication. Uniquely, data visualisation has the capacity to engage leaders in complex concepts and to enable understanding of issues that sit behind sophisticated analysis. I am passionate about bringing the blend of art and science in data visualisation to my clients and teams.Over the past three years, I have worked in collaboration with Local Government organisations to help them understand their performance, and the drivers of that performance, in key areas that make a difference. I am proud to lead a collaboration with Local Government Professionals Australia, NSW that is driving change in the sector from within.I lead a talented team of analytical professionals who are passionate about helping our clients use data to make smarter, more informed decisions, in order to manage risk and improve performance.
