Responsible for ensuring an optimal balance between operational cost and commercial upsides through identification and implementation of relevant network changes (network of container ships). It is my responsibility to ensure that Maersk Line has the right vessels sailing between the right ports on Maersk Line's Oceania services.

Managed several projects aiming at reducing the fuel consumption of the Maersk Line fleet of container vessels. The primary tools used was process optimisation, implementation of new technology on older vessels and behavioral change of seafarers (e.g. changing perceptions on vessel's trim, stock levels, etc. I was also given the challenge of starting and managing a large project with 20+ team members with the objective of improving the relationship between ship's crews and shore personnel (Project Gangway) when this reached a historical low back in 2010

Team member on Maersk Line IT Simplification Project responsible for consolidating and decommissioning various IT systems in order to simplify the Maersk Line application landscape including developing new and sustainable applications for the future.

Internal consultant in newly started department for Process Excellence. Key objective to streamline and optimise Maersk Line's internal business processes through application of various Lean and Six Sigma tools and techniques. I both had roles as work stream leader and as project team member on projects focusing on pricing, quoting and fuel consumption reduction (the latter as work stream leader on major strategic project known as the 'Bunker Leap')

Responsible for establishing and leading a new corporate marketing department including the recruitment of 4 team members. The marketing department was responsible for all marketing activities for all A. P. Moller Maersk companies in India (Maersk Line, Safmarine og Maersk Logistics (now Damco). We created all campaign material, ensured trade fair participation, PR. etc.

Responsible for the creation of business plans for opening a new Maersk Logistics agency in Pune and a new airfreight office in Mumbai airport. Initially I was also involved in Supply Chain Management.
