I combined my in depth knowledge of current and historic finance movements with a thorough understanding of each client’s goals to provide sound property, investment and fund advice.Through continual review of industry and business specific economic data and information, I recognised potential change in financiers funding sediment and lending conditions allowing clients timely pivots of their investments.Collaborative liaison with an extensive range of local, interstate and offshore clients, advisors, bank and private financiers, investors, and internal team members ensured timely advise was given.Other key responsibilities included:• building complex financial models, • preparation of simple to complex credit submissions ($2M - $250M) with consideration of each financier’s specific funding policy as well as the client’s circumstances and the project’s parameters,• review and develop project feasibilities,• negotiation with capital providers to structure funding for development projects,• arrange multi-layered finance structure to fund projects (i.e. senior & junior debt, preferential and Joint-Venture equity), and• coach, monitor and supervise direct reports to ensure they had appropriate skills and knowledge to comply with external financiers’ policy and legislative requirements.

I was responsible for the delivery of end-to-end financial transactions and services to a portfolio of 50+ business relationships, with a combined exposure totally $175M.Success in managing and increasing the value of these portfolios was due to:• proactive targeting and development of new business opportunities via established and new networks of internal and external contacts,• planning and implementation of strategies for the achievement of annual budgets, in collaboration with other key stakeholders,• regular review of industry and business specific economic data and information with potential impact on clients’ ongoing investment performance, and• regular review and interpretation of client’s financial accounts, budgets and cash flows as well as preparation of sensitivity analysis (including SWOT).

This role saw me responsible for the delivery of sales and service to a portfolio of approximately 35 property investment and development relationships with a combined exposure totalling $1 Billion.
