HR Business Partner responsibility within SSCL Government and SSCL police, managing a team of HRA's and Snr HRA's to supporting business transformation, BAU and the development of our people strategy .

Working as part of the Senior Management Team onboard Aurora, I have HR responsibility for 850 crew from 34 nationalities. I Lead the Crew Office (consisting of Crew Manager, Assistant crew Manager and Crew administrator) to deliver support, advice and training for the ships company.

HR Business Partner for Scotland, Wales and the Commercial Dept. Program manager supporting the L&D function, business initatives and Recruitment in the UK.

Responsible for HR issues within Scotland, the UK Commercial Department and Engineering and Design. Over the various sites and offices in my area I lead on redundancy programmes, Recruitment (including Intern and Graduate) and ER issues.

As an HR manager at Sainsbury’s I led a team of HR clerks, payroll clerks and trainers to deliver a focused HR function that supports colleagues to meet the needs of our diverse customer base. Working in partnership with the store manager I ensured that employee relations remain positive through regular focus groups and union meetings and that our managers deliver our people policies in a fair and consistent manner. Key responsibilities in the role were to deliver labour costs inline with business sales, train and develop colleagues and support and advice managers on procedure.

Terex is a global manufacturer of equipment for use in construction, mining and infrastructure. As the HR Business Partner for Terex Atlas UK Ltd and Terex Distribution limited I am involved in all aspects of the HR function. In this role I also support a further 3 Terex Businesses, with varying terms and conditions, an overall employee number or approximately 700.
