Brings a wealth of corporate experience and know-how honed during a career spanning nearly 30 years, the majority of which has been spent in multinational, blue chip environments – notably BG Group and Interserve.Skills• Corporate Property: extensive experience of all transactional and operational aspects of the acquisition, ownership and disposal of property (mostly commercial offices and industrial sites) including supply chain management e.g., lawyers, agents, surveyors, and landlord and tenant negotiations/management.• Project Delivery: all stages of the project lifecycle – initiation, scoping, development, execution, acceptance & handover of greenfield and brownfield property projects e.g., new builds, major refurbishments and fit-outs.• Leadership: setting strategic direction and property agenda; subject matter expertise and thought leadership; people management and development; financial and budget management; process development, improvement and efficiency; governance & assurance including development and implementation of policies, standards and guidelines; operational & contractual risk management.• Strategic Initiatives: M&A and disposal activities; property lead on business transformation, change management, organisational effectiveness and cost saving programmes; creating and realising opportunities for cost reduction and cash generation and minimising losses arising from holding vacant or surplus estate.• Facilities Management: optimal contracting model selection and procurement; business owner/client for operational delivery; performance management (SLAs & KPIs).• Business Services: workplace safety; sustainability and carbon reduction; security; health & wellbeing; business continuity planning; crisis & incident management; business travel.
