I am currently an Assistant Engineer working at SMRT, the largest rail network company in Singapore. I am in charge of understanding and responding to investigations and replacement programs for the Communications Systems' TEL Command Centre.I also carry out Preventive Maintenance (PM), Corrective Management (CM) and Improvement Maintenance (IM) activities (KAIZEN).Working alongside my teammates, I help to plan and establish correct working procedures to ensure a common understanding for STEL System Communications.I'm in charge of performing tasks safely and in compliance with relevant procedures and instructions contained in Quality Procedures, Work Specifications, Work Instructions and any relevant change instructions disseminated.I also plan scheduled PM work, perform timely CMs, and I help to ensure maintenance work orders are closed promptly.Apart from this, I carry out day-to-day monitoring of equipment performance, and assist EMMs in managing and controlling of maintenance spares.I also am in charge of training new staff and I am currently leading a team.I take pride in what I do, carrying out any duty as assigned and directed by EMM, Senior Engineer, Section manager or Branch Manager.Knowledge & Maintenance of following Rail/Train/Station Systems1. At SBS Transit, I was in charge of leading and managing a team when it came to implementing all maintenance activities for DTL Communications Systems.I was responsible for investigating faults, crafting failure analyses, coming up with replacement programs, ensuring that my team kept compliance of ISO standards in maintenance work.I was also responsible for coming up with cost-saving solutions, improvements and upgrading work for Communications Systems.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES - Lead, manage and supported the implementation of the maintenance team for DTL Communications Systems.- Supported Communication Systems Engineers to achieve and implement the ISO standards for all maintenance works.- Assisted and collaborated with contractors for the defects and modification works.- Studied and analysed faults and proposed improvements to Communication System Engineers.- Verified maintenance work that guaranteed work integrity and met safety standards.- Supported Communications System Engineers to monitor and assist in work of all modifications and upgrading of the equipment in the communications systems.- Assisted in the implementation of Work Instructions and Specifications for maintenance of the equipment and Sub-Communication Systems.- Supported in the review of R&P/Work Instruction.- Assisted in investigating incidents and delays related to Communications Systems. - Led and trained a team.- Assisted Engineers in upgrading or Project work.SPECIFIC SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES- Assisted Section Head/Engineers to implement and monitor the Safety Management System.- Conducted safety observation in the working area of Electronic Workshop, CER (Communication Equipment Room) and all DTL platform, concourse and trackside area.- Led safety audits on maintenance to ensure that the standard and safety practice at work are maintained.

I was an Operator & Engineering Assistant at Delphi.My roles included helping company engineers with project assignments that required completion within a given timeframe.I was required to perform ESD (Electronic Static Discharge) Tests as well as Environment test setups with the use of high-powered environmental chambers. I had to carry out simple soldering of electronics and circuit boards, while collecting data by powering up the electrical units and testing the durability of them by conducting environment tests in different temperature levels.I also learnt how to operate the machinery in different environment chambers.
