I qualified as a primary teacher in 1995 and hold a Bachelor of Education. As a seasoned educator with over 25 years of experience, I am deeply committed to the principles of constructionism, play and learning by making as the foundations of effective learning and teaching, and am dedicated to creating meaningful and engaging learning experiences. My extensive background in content development, learning design, training, professional development, and educational technology has enabled me to develop innovative learning experiences and project-based content, while also effectively managing a diverse range of projects with a variety of organisations. Over the past decade, I have worked independently with schools and in partnership with major educational groups, gaining experience across commercial, private, and state sectors.I have developed curriculum content for SAM Labs, KUBO and LEGO Education.I am a Lego Education Academy Certified Trainer and regularly facilitate training with teachers in both primary and secondary schools and to a diverse range of organisations. I work globally and have delivered keynotes, training and workshops in Europe, Africa, the Caribbean, and the Middle East.I am a former Vice Chair of NAPE (National Association for Primary Education).
