I have a broad understanding of the current security and threat landscape and I also understand the challenges that corporations are facing in day-to-day ICT-operations with regards to risks and business continuity. I also have the needed skills to understand and research the underlying technical details of advanced exploits and vulnerabilities and the ability to describe these in layman's terms if needed.By knowing the pros and cons of the various security products available on the market, I am able to come up with solutions and mitigations to even the most complex problems. I am also familiar with a wide range of security related open source software and I can quickly build purpose made scripts and tools (defensive as well as offensive) in order to reach the desired outcome at speed and scale. I am also familiar with best practices for administration, architecture as well as security operations in both Azure and AWS.I have good organisational skills, especially when it comes to planning, scheduling, and prioritising the tasks at hand. These skills have been valuable when leading, analysing, and fending off intrusions by advanced threat actors spanning dozens of endpoints in global corporate environments. I have excellent communications skills, both verbal and written. I can produce fluent and coherent technical, non-technical, and scientific text in Finnish, Swedish, and English. I have delivered presentations and held workshops at various security conferences and venues. With over 20 years of experience in the industry, I have an established and international network of contacts and I have hands-on experience from exercises like Cyber Europe (ENISA), Cyber Coalition (NATO), Locked Shields (NATO CCDCOE), NISÖ (The Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency) and TIETO (The Finnish Defence Forces).I also have a proven track of team leadership with a desire to strengthen my leadership skills even further in the future. I am easy to approach and I thrive on face-to-face interaction. When leading a team, I see myself as a motivator and as an enabler by creating the ideal environment needed for the team to accomplish their goals. It all about letting them shine while stepping out of the way. I am currently a "dormant" PhD Candidate at Aalto University with the desire to one day pick up my stalled research career.
