• Lead the organisation through the planning cycle during a very turbulent environment due to a major organisational restructuring within Finance & the whole Business, including incorporating a major acquisition into the financial planning process. The restructure impacted all parts of the business, processes, and across all hierarchies. Despite this I lead the output of a credible financial plan which satisfied key stakeholders.• Creating from scratch a high performing FP&A team of 9.• Dramatically improving the data robustness and flow within the planning cycle, through pushing source system development, removing 'legacy spreadsheets' which decreased cycle times, and increased value add activities within planning.

• Finance lead on a strategic growth project: providing financial and commercial direction, employing advanced modelling and analysis technique, designing sustainable financial models for business case benefits tracking & briefing executive steering group on progress of strategic initiatives.• Finance lead on two major strategic outsourcing contracts, which delivered significant cost benefit to R&SA (£10m).• Driving and implementing improvements to investment financial framework, including all associated technical, reporting and behavioural processes, which are now the UK standard. This aided the UK exec team with the prioritisation of investment decision making process.• Driving analysis to shape an organisational change project. The findings, presented to the MD, were integrated into HR strategy.• Simplify the project governance process and implemented an aligned cost & benefits reporting procedure for strategic growth and cost efficiency programmes within the UK.
