About Andy Frey
I'm a technical village elder, funny guy, people success enabler, maker, and I'm curious as heck.Beyond my super-nerdy technology habit, I've been a lifelong student of leadership, people management, communication, organizational behavior, and psychology. My insatiable appetite for learning and my never-ending curiosity about people put me in a perfect position to share with those around me the lessons I'm continuously learning.After over 30 years in technology leadership and management, my focus now is giving back to those progressing through their careers, especially newer ones. I share my experience and knowledge with teammates to help them get better faster than I did. I advocate for those I serve, giving them someone to talk to who's "been there" and providing coaching, mentoring, and training on skills that make us all better at our daily human interactions. My desire to help others grow and my interest in human behavior drove the creation of my role as Director of People Development at Inizio Evoke Transformation (formerly meltmedia). My incredible team has since launched the company's first anyone-to-anyone collaborative coaching program (the artist formerly known as "360º Feedback"), a new learning management system, and a better way to prepare people for more senior-level positions. We've replaced our outdated, ineffective, and boring performance review system with a more straightforward, employee-driven, forward-looking career and professional development program.
