I am a proactive graduate research assistant with 2+ years of experience in computational fluid dynamics analysis and research. I have a strong foundation in heat transfer, fluid dynamics and computational methods and I enjoy tackling complex problems in a collaborative environment. Since first beholding the SR-71 Blackbird as kid, I’ve been interested in the confluence of aerodynamics and design, and dream of being a part of an elite team of engineers that push the boundary of what’s possible. As a CFD research assistant, I’m currently conducting research on optimizing the motion of oscillating foil energy harvesters, which has led to an increase in extraction efficiency by 7%. Additionally, my undergraduate research afforded me the opportunity to present at the International Mechanical Engineering Congress & Exposition (IMECE) 2023 over a novel air curtain jet blast deflector for aircraft carriers.
