Currently I am a cashier at Longhouse Market and Deli. I also relocate products for optimal sales within the store. ( aka: stocking and fronting )I like to help people part time with their social media and websites. Fixing simple coding errors or helping with websites that use HTML code and upgrading to a newer platform is not wanted. I also manage a Youtube page for my wife and I, called Sturchventures where we document our travels and fun. Reviewing tech products, software, coding and digital drawing is the focus of my Sturchmedia Youtube page and Instagram. Once upon a time....I was a Signal Support Systems Specialist in the US Army. I dealt with radio's, computers and network administrative duties. This is where I learned my skills with information technology. I later honed my skills at ECPI College of Technology after I was honorably discharged. I obtained my Diploma in IT / Network and Security Management.These skills were used daily when I worked for Winthrop University as a Computer Technician. I installed SMART boards, network projectors and computers in over 200 rooms. I obtained my CompTIA Security + and Network + certifications while working there. I also got a chance to learn website updating using a CMS as I updated 4 pages with pictures and text. The knowledge I gained from my studies for my CompTIA certifications proved invaluable as I worked at Olympic Wi-Fi installing Wi - Fi antenna's on the roofs of clients. I learned that I will never get over my fear of heights, but I don't let that get in my way when there is a job to do.
