Medical instrument and devices design work and active participation on multi functional teams to advance assigned projects through the design/development process though launch to the market.- Interface with surgeons and companies to gather input for design and evaluation of new products.- Develop innovative solutions that satisfy customer needs.- Provide input into the design of new products to improve their reliability and ease of manufacture- Actively participate on cross-functional design and fabrication teams.- Model and detail implant and instrumentation designs utilizing SolidWorks 3D software.- Develop methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for product related research and development.- Develop prototypes and test protocols, and execute testing for design verification and validation.- Familiarity with ISO 13485, FDA design controls, change request, GMP- Develop and manage work plans and timeliness within the scope of assigned projects.

Development and sustenance of Wet Etch, CMP processes and tools for test silicon wafer regeneration.- Experience on 1272 (14nm), 1274 (10nm) and 1276 (7nm) technology nodes- Logic and Technology Development Divisional Award for boosting tool run rate and capacity by more than 20%- Worked in a team of 9 engineers and supervised 15 technicians in a fast paced and highly dynamic environment- Worked with equipment supplier to identify shortcomings, propose and evaluate hardware modification to mitigate issues - Proficient in techniques like DOE, SPC and statistics towards designing, executing and analyzing experiments necessary to meet engineering specifications- Proficient in data analysis software (SAS), including SQL, JMP, Excel (advanced level)- Successfully qualified and supervised new tool to large-scale production specifications- Complete ownership of over 11 multimillion dollar electromechanical tools run on a 24x7 basis at the local site - Responsible for ensuring copy exactly transfer of numerous processes to more than 4 global fabrication facilities- Developed extensive FMEA (failure mode and effect analysis) - dFMEA and pFMEA - for troubleshooting, preventing tool & process failures and managing replacement parts inventory
