About Stephen Woerner

Experienced divisional CEO, President, COO, and CIO with extensive experience across the gas and electric utility industry. Strong leadership, management and engineering acumen available as a valuable asset to corporate boards. I began my career in the utility industry as an engineer at Baltimore Gas and Electric in 1990, committed to public service and ensuring the best experience for our customers.  Over time, I worked in nearly every department of the company, including several executive management positions, and eventually as President and COO.  I have always believed in building teams, supporting our people who work on behalf of our company, and putting customers first. I moved to Massachusetts to serve as President of National Grid in New England. I was recruited to establish this regional business unit and associated leadership team and complete a large asset divestiture. After successfully completing both, I decided to pursue other opportunities.
